Friday, September 9, 2016 | 5:30pm. Join the City of Middletown and Middletown City School District in celebrating Middletown’s Olympic Gold Medal Athlete, Kayla Harrison!
The parade in Ms. Harrison’s honor will start from the downtown transit station lot at 5:30 p.m. and will run to First Street, then to Main Street and will end at Barnitz Stadium. The parade will be followed by a ceremony for Kayla at Barnitz Stadium.
Following the parade and the ceremony, the Middletown Middies will be taking on Trotwood-Madison in their first home football game of the season.

The Takin’ it to the Streets concert series will feature The Jazz People at 8 p.m. downtown. The concerts are located on Broad Street between Central Avenue and Reynolds Street.

This event will take place all day and will run on Donham Plaza (behind the City Building) all the way to Governor’s Square at the corner of Central Ave. and Broad Street.
