Cooking Classes at Central Connections.
Sous Chef Karen Reed of Central Connections Catering and Banquet Services will teach cooking classes from 4:30 to 6:30 PM in the Central Connections banquet center at 3907 Central Ave. in Middletown. Cooks of all skill levels and ages are invited to take part in the cooking lessons.
Participants will learn to prepare delicious dishes in the fun and friendly atmosphere of Middletown’s adult center. The cost of each class is $5 per person, which includes a sampling of finished dishes and recipes.
The cooking class dates and menus are:
• April 5: BLT rosti (a Swiss hash-brown pancake with bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado)
• April 12: pecan-crusted tilapia with lemony fennel-arugula salad.
To register call 513-423-1734 or stop by Central Connections’ Welcome Center. The deadline to register is one week prior to each class. Each class will require a minimum of 10 registrants.
Chef Karen Reed has a degree in applied culinary arts from the Art Institute of Cincinnati and a background in catering for large groups and in event planning.

Help us celebrate Middletown’s own Hometown Heroes! Spend an evening with our Police & Fire Department and First Responders! Police cruisers, fire trucks, k-9 units and more will be there.
